The One who promised is faithful; as the Scripture says, His promises are never empty, and god’s timing is perfect. The Bible contains many promises that were fulfilled in due time. When God gives a promise, it may seem delayed, but when the right time comes, His promises will surely be fulfilled.
Even in our lives, God strengthens and encourages us with His promises. Dear friend, remember that god’s timing is perfect. Do not be troubled by any situation or problem. Hold tightly to the promises that God has given you and be courageous. When the fullness of time comes, you will witness His mighty works in your life. Then, according to His promise, you will surely praise Him
Let us look at some Biblical examples where god’s timing is perfect, means where God’s promises were fulfilled in His perfect time.
Prophecies About the Birth of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ’s birth was prophesied thousands of years before it happened. Some believers did not receive the results of the promises during their lifetime, yet they welcomed them from afar and died in faith (Hebrews 11:13).
Genesis 3:15 God promises that the Seed of the woman will crush the serpent’s head. Genesis 9:26,27. Jesus would come through the lineage of Shem. Numbers 24:17, “A Star will come out of Jacob.” Genesis 49:10, Jesus would come from the tribe of Judah. Isaiah 9:2, 9:6, 11:1, 7:14, Many prophecies about Christ that were fulfilled after several hundred years.

Fulfilled when God’s timing is Perfect
Jesus came into this world at the fullness of time. When Mary and Joseph came to Bethlehem, her days were fulfilled because Jesus had to be born there to fulfil the prophecy of Micah.
God’s Promise to Abraham and Sarah
The Promise
Genesis 12:2, 12:4, Abraham would become a great nation; his descendants would be as numerous as the sand. Abraham was 75 years old when this promise was given. Genesis 13:5, God promised to give the land of Canaan to Abraham’s descendants forever. Genesis 16:16, Abraham was 86 when Ishmael was born.
The Fulfilment – God’s timing is perfect
Genesis 21:1,2 Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born. The promise took 25 years to be fulfilled. At the appointed time, God enabled elderly Sarah to conceive and bear Isaac.

God’s Timing is Perfect – Joseph Becoming a Ruler
The Dream
Genesis 37:2, 7, 9 – Joseph dreamed that he would one day rule.
The Delay and Trials
Instead of becoming a ruler immediately, he was
• Falsely accused
• Thrown into prison.
The cupbearer forgot about him for two more years (Genesis 40:14).
Dream fulfilled – God’s Timing is Perfect.
Genesis 41:48 Joseph became a ruler at age 30. The dreams took 13 years to be fulfilled. At the perfect time, God lifted him up.
Just like Joseph, we too desire quick fulfilment, but nothing happens before God’s appointed time. We must wait patiently and have hope in his promises.
Moses – God’s Chosen Deliverer
Moses Acting Before God’s Time
Acts 7:23 to 35 shows that Moses tried to save Israel at age 40 by killing the Egyptian. But the Israelites questioned him, asking, “Who made you ruler and judge over us?” Because the time had not yet come.
God’s Training
Moses needed 40 years of training in the wilderness to become humble.
When god’s timing is perfect, god chose Moses to deliver the Israelites from Egypt.
At 80 years old, God called Moses from the burning bush and made him the leader and judge of Israel. Another 40 years were spent leading Israel toward Canaan.
David and the Temple
David’s Desire
1 Chronicles 22:6 to 17 David desired to build the temple for the Lord. His intention was good.
God’s timing is perfect in David’s Life
But God chose Solomon, David’s son, to build the temple. According to God’s perfect plan, the temple was not built during David’s reign but during Solomon’s reign.
Ecclesiastes 3:1to 8 reminds us that “There is a time for everything.
Just as God’s Perfect Timing, Abraham waited 25 years, Moses waited 40 + 40 years, Leah received the strength to bear children, Joseph waited two extra years before being elevated,
In the same way, everything in our lives happens only in God’s appointed time. We must never consider God’s promises empty. Instead, let us develop a heart that trusts, waits, and believes in God’s perfect timing. And Faith, Patience and Hope See God’s Timing is Perfect. May the Almighty God grant us such blessed patience. Amen.
