By God’s loving protection, Immanuel God with us, has preserved us throughout the year and graciously allowed us to enter a new year. Through the constant presence of Immanuel God with us, we have experienced His care, guidance, and faithfulness.
For this great blessing, we are bound to praise and thank our God. Let us thank the Lord for all the goodness He has shown us in the past year. Let us praise Him for every harm He has removed from our lives.
In short, we give thanks for all His blessings and praise Him for His protection from every danger. Christ, who is called Immanuel, is the God who is always with us.
Until the end of the age, Immanuel God with us, remains with us. Because of His presence, we have overcome all trials, struggles, and humiliations and have reached the final month of the year. Very soon, we will step into a new year. How blessed we are.
Year After Year – Immanuel God With Us
From the beginning of the year to its very end, the eyes of the Lord your God are always upon you (Deuteronomy 11:12). Throughout all 365 days of the year, Immanuel God With Us has continually watched over you. You have always been under His caring gaze. He knows what you lack, what you have, and what you need. He has been your helper and provider, supplying everything at the right time.
The Loving Hand of God That Leads Us
The Lord’s hand is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). All through the year, Immanuel God With Us stretched out His hands to protect you. He never withdrew them. In the New Testament, Jesus lovingly invites us, saying, Come to Me, all you who labour and are burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). How great and wonderful is the love of God; let us praise Him. See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands (Isaiah 49:16). If the Lord has engraved us on His palms, it shows how deeply Immanuel God with us loves us, His children and His beloved ones.

We are Secure in God’s Hands. He is Always With Us
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand”
(John 10:28–29). Your entire life is firmly held in the hands of Immanuel God with us. Therefore, move forward into the new year with praise and confidence in Him.
The Ears of God – Immanuel God With Us Who Hears
The Lord’s ears are not dull that they cannot hear (Isaiah 59:1; Psalm 34:15). The ears of Immanuel God with us are always attentive to you. He eagerly listens to your voice. His ears are inclined toward the prayers of the righteous. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7). Every prayer lifted to Immanuel God with us is heard.
The Canaanite woman cried out to the Lord on behalf of her daughter, and He heard her prayer and healed her child (Matthew 15:21–28). Two blind men followed Jesus, crying out, Son of David, have mercy on us. The Lord touched their eyes and restored their sight (Matthew 9:27–31). The ears of Immanuel God with us are never closed. He hears every prayer and faithfully brings fulfilment.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, As we praise God for the year that has passed, let us enter this new year with a renewed spirit, a renewed mind, and a renewed life. Let us prepare ourselves for the New Jerusalem, trusting Immanuel God with us, and may God grant this blessed new year to each one of us.
